How to get to Life Festival 2008?

We strongly recommend the use of public transport or organized coaches to reach Life Festival 2008 from Ireland. Please bear in mind that and extra surcharge of €10 will apply to all cars. This amount will be paid at the gate and will support the recovery of the property grounds after the festival.

The festival grounds are located in Lough Cutra Castle, about 3 km from Gort town which is located half way between Galway (26 km) and Limerick (30km).

If flying into Ireland the best option is flying to Shannon or Galway airports. Shannon offers several national and international destinations to choose from. It is only 27 km from Gort town and there are lots of buses every day.
Galway airport is also a good choice if flying from Ireland or UK. Check their websites for further information: www.shannonairport.com, www.galwayairport.com, www.aerarann.ie.

Lough Cutra castle is 25 min. from Loughgrea, Ennis and the beautiful coastal town of Kinvara. It's also just 32Km from Shannon airport, 1 hour from Limerick, 35min. from Galway city centre and 3 miles from the farming town of Gort.

From Shannon Airport we suggest the bus as the best option to reach Gort. There are few companies providing service from Shannon to Gort via Galway. Duration of journey is about 45 minutes.
