Life is Green

• - Please make use of public transport or carpool to get to life (detailed info in "Where")
• - Please do not bring glass containers. We have a policy of not allowing glass onto the festival site
• - The "bin your empties" eco-team will encourage people to recycle and separate waste at the festival.
• - Festival management will make sure all the waste is separated into 3 main categories: organic and paper/cans and plastics. The Festival will encourage concessions to use biodegradable food containers and cutlery.
• - Festival will build signs and artistic installations out of recycled materials.
• - Life is seeking to power the festival with biodiesel power generators....so far we've found 3 generators with this characteristics we need another 15 more. Can you help us?

Life wants to say thanks to Tipi dave and his crew from Nomad Spirit for bringing the experience of TIPI'S, YURTS and BELL TENTS to LIFE.

Beside the lake at the Life Festival, the beauty of these majestic structures mixed perfectly with the landscape Of Lough Cutra Castle. Workshop/Course areas, Children's fun time/creche etc were holded on these spaces, The Pavillion was used as a Healing Area at Life Festival, Galway 2007, and sectioned inside for massage and reiki treatments. The Big lodge , a tipi of 25ft that can hold up to 50 people at once, is the most Sacred of all, when Nomad Spirit run the Lodge, there was always a cup of tea or a bowl of food to be had, great crack and a wonderful ambience where festival goers could relax and meet people.
