Unless you are as ill informed as George W.Bush then you will be aware that an outbreak of fence jumping at last years Life festival could lead to the cancellation of this year's event and put on risk the festivals future in such a nice place. Let us make no odds about this, those people who jumped the fence last year would be directly responsible of that risk.

LIFE 2008

In order for the festival to be granted a licence for 2008 changes have to be made. A new fence system will be erected and security checks are going to be a lot tougher not only at the fence and gates but on the busses in the car parks and the whole of the area surrounding the site. The message is quite simple, if you don't have a ticket you won't be coming in.

LIFE FESTIVAL is a limited Event . Getting this special License will allow us to enjoy more hours of music during the night and have a relaxed festival.

Gatecrashers can put the Festival life at Risk.

Gardai is aware of this and this has forced us to implement a security plan to provide a safe Event to our LIFERS

Learn the lesson form previous years. Security levels will be much more efficient particularly outside the event and on the perimeter to provide, as reassurance, a presence in the local area and to deal with potential crime. In the arena, our security will be friendly, but firm. Use of CCTV and a new In/out system with checking wristbands points in camping entry / exit and arenas will be implemented.

Doors: Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 9am - 11pm

Please note that there is no entry from 11pm till 9am ...(no exceptions)

This year the Camping will be fenced and secured. with vigilant towers and the entrance/ exits to the Camping will be Wristband checked.
