Nic No Name

Nic No Name is Nicola Romanini, manager of Frolic and long-standing London-based DJ. Originally from Ferrara, Italy, Nic moved to London in 1992 and quickly developed a passion for dance music. After many years in the underground techno scene where he operated as DJ and promoter Nic eventually discovered the more expansive grooves of Trance music. Collaborating with friends in the early days of Frolic where the emphasis was solely on the music Nic realised the potential of, and began to actively develop, the visual side of event production. Frolic's status today as a progressive audio-visual house is the culmination of 5 years of experimentation and hard work. On Vision One Nic's role has been that of managing and co- ordinating all aspects of the project. He has created the two continuous mixes, for stereo and 5.1 surround, and will be touring this summer with resident Frolic visual artist and VJ Soichi Matsumoto presenting a dynamic audio-visual set using the newly developed Pioneer DVJ-X1s.
