Disco Stu

Stuart started Dj’ing at 18 whilst developing his music tastes in Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh. Having seen and enjoyed the success of Edinburgh based psychedelic nights Phosphorescence (run by the Munro brothers of flying rhino fame) and Vortex in the late 90’s, he got ‘the bug’ and in 2001 joined forces with two mates Charlie and Reevo to launch the now infamous Indigitous parties...and after parties…!

Indigitous quickly became known as one of the UK’s most successful student run psy parties. Showcasing live acts such as Eskimo, Voice of Cod, EVP, Hux Flux and Prometheus among many others over a 6-year period.

Disco Stu as he has become affectionately known, now lives in London playing regularly around town and festivals in the summer. He runs Echo System with pals Hamish (Alchemy), Hazza (Furthur) and Charlie (Indigitous) to bring the likes of Freq and Ace Ventura for their UK debuts. Added to Greg Coyle’s progressive label Radio With Pictures Records in 2007 for his fresh style, which ranges widely from minimal to psy-progressive, but always chunky and funky designed to make you find the hips you never knew you had!
