Heartbreak Cartel

Heartbreak Cartel is a funky rock band that was formed in 2003 in Pretoria, South Africa. Consisting of a vocalist, two guitarists, a bassist and a Greek drum machine! The band has been known to impress audiences with their lively, foot stomping and entertaining shows. Their unique sound originates primarily from home-grown South African Kwaito (township) beats and Bulgarian rhythms fused with contemporary indie-rock influences. In 2007 Heartbreak Cartel decided to extend their horizon by relocating to Dublin, Ireland in search of an expanded and passionate music scene. With the promise of more to come, let the heartbreakin’ begin!
