Funzo

Fronted by songwriter Liam McDermott, Funzo are an 8-piece band from Dublin, who play a mix of reggae and sixties pop, and enjoy listening to Outkast, Jimmy Cliff, Stevie Wonder and the Kinks. They've won a few contests recently, including the Trinity College Battle of the Bands, the An Tostal National Songwriting Contest and the National Demo to Breakthrough Contest. They've played their songs live on TG4, and their music has also been played on Today fm, 2fm, Newstalk and Phantom fm. To date they've brought out 7 CDs and are working on their next release
